Hmmm....

So an interesting topic to talk about. Well let's see Monday I went to dance class at the gym and DH went with me to work out in the rest of the gym. That was a lot of fun as usual. I've gotten a lot better from the time when I first started going to them. They change up the routines a lot but since I've been going for a while, I can catch on quickly because I've seen the routine before.

Yesterday, we came home and voted in the Democratic primary like good citizens. It was storming and neither of us felt like going to gym so we broke into one of our bottles of wine and put on a movie "Needful Things." It's based on a Stephen King novel that I read a long time ago. I had seen the movie many years ago, but didn't remember it very well. It was ok and didn't give me any nightmares thankfully. Weekend plans are up in the air. We're trying to be cheap because DH's friend Bones (nickname) is coming into town the following weekend. We always end up ruining our budget when people come into town. It's hard because how do you explain to people that you are trying to be cheap when they come visit you. You have to take them all over the city and show them a good time which includes visiting the bars and restaurants. The museums and monuments are free thankfully, but I've seen them so many times they're really not that exciting anymore. We love to have people come visit though and I'm really happy that DH has a friend coming to visit because he doesn't get to see him too often.

Tonight DH and I going to go listen to jazz tonight. Yay! Although we should go to the gym, this jazz series is only lasting a couple more weeks and tonight is the only night I will actually be able to go. Next Wednesday, I'm going to go a work event that is a movie screening followed by a reception. I'm really excited about this because it looks nice and the reception is at a fancy restaurant in Georgetown. I still have to figure out what I'm going to where. Hmm....I have a nice sundress but I'm not sure if that will over or under dressing. I will have to do some research.
